Overview

The evolving economic environment, and the workplace responses to it, present new opportunities and challenges for those working within them. Working environments must be conscious of the changes in order to take advantage of these new economic realities, and pre-empt the challenges that may be presented. This programme is an introduction to the subject of organisational psychology: the applied branch of psychology that is concerned with understanding workplace behaviour and enhancing the well-being of people in organisations. Theoretical and practical examples are featured on topics such as training and development, leadership and power, group dynamics, workplace stress and the relationship between how we feel and how we act within the workplace.
