Overview

This programme consists of two modules - Marketing and Entrepreneurship. This award will train learners to understand and examine the marketing challenges faced by modern businesses and will introduce them to the concept of entrepreneurship, examining some of the key strategic issues in relation to new venture creation in Ireland. The programme is ideal for those who have a business idea they want to progress, graduates who want to hone their entrepreneurial and marketing skills or those who have experience but no formal qualifications in the area.

Participants can then build on the knowledge gained and apply it in a practical format through a structured business and marketing plan. The programme will advance knowledge of marketing concepts and theory at a strategic level and will provide a frame-work for learners to understand and examine the challenges faced by modern marketers and to develop critical, analytical and decision-making skills.
