“Over 3,000 people started a new business every month in Ireland in 2019 and the rate of early stage entrepreneurial activity observed was the highest it has ever been since we began to track rates” – Survey of Entrepreneurship in Ireland, 2019.

Have you always wanted to develop your own business but don’t know where to start? Do you have an entrepreneurial spirit but you need some help formalising your ideas and processes?

Our Certificate in Entrepreneurship examines some of the key strategic issues facing business creation in Ireland. Upon gaining a deeper understanding of the entrepreneurial environment, learners will build out a structured and practical business plan with the guidance of our expert course facilitators.

Learners will go through the process of idea generation that includes understanding the management and marketing practices involved in a new venture versus an established business with awareness of the opportunities and pitfalls on the road to success. They will gain insight into the questions of intellectual and legal property often involved in starting a business and learn about the acquisition of seed capital and key practices of good financial management.

Having brought together their new entrepreneurial knowledge base into their own formal business plan, learners will have the opportunity to present their plan, defend its key points and receive recommendations.

Join our Certificate course and finally kick start the business idea of your dreams.
