Overview

This certificate programme provides learners with a basis of knowledge in child development and how this informs childcare, particularly in partnership with parents.  

This programme is designed for those with an interest in studying child development or child care more broadly as it introduces learners to the key principles of child development theory.

This programme is a module from our Early Childhood Education and Care degree programme offered as a standalone certificate for students who are interested in gaining a recognised qualification in this discipline.
