Overview

This course is Springboard funded and is free for applicants that are classed as unemployed or returners. Applicants that are in employment, will have 90% of their fees covered. This programme will introduce students to the concept of Entrepreneurship, examining some of the key strategic issues in relation to new venture creation in Ireland. Students will explore the theory, concepts and strategic issues facing entrepreneurs in Ireland today. They will examine the characteristics and traits associated with entrepreneurs and gain an appreciation of the idea generation process involved in a new venture. Students can then build on the knowledge gained and apply it in a practical format through a structured business plan.
