As part of the Government’s announcement on the July Stimulus package on July 24th 2020, additional funding was allocated for Higher Education skills-related programmes. The faculty of Lifelong Learning has received funding to run 11 modular (10 credit modules) programmes commencing in September 2021. Learners can take up to 3 courses from the list of funded programmes provided there is no overlap on the timetable.
Eligible participants include the unemployed, returners, those in employment and the formerly self-employed. Part-time postgraduate courses are open to recent graduates. However, to participate in these courses, 2020 graduates will be required to pay 10% of the course fee.
Eligibility and other requirements in respect of modular skills courses will align with Springboard+ eligibility criteria.
