Admissions Procedures for Mature Students
Normally Mature applicants for courses must be 23 years of age or over on January 1st of the year of entry to the course. Each mature application is considered on an individual basis and applicants may be invited to attend an interview in May of each year.
IT Carlow will accept Late Mature Applications but it will only be possible to offer an interview to those Mature Applicants who submit their CAO Application by the 1st February .

Mature Applicants need not have the normal minimum entry requirements but only those persons who have a reasonable prospect of completing their course will be offered a place. The full application procedure is detailed in the CAO handbook.
