In this role, you’ll have responsibility for availability, performance and efficiency of Production and Development Workday environments.
Responsibilities: Work as part of a team on delivering new projects, service deployments and testing Implementation of weekly environment patching across multiple environments Assisting with the deployment of new servers / instances Serve as one of the Primary point of contacts for availability and performance issues within the CT ENV’s Effectively prioritise & manage tasks to meet set timelines Carry out daily administration tasks Work closely with infrastructure, operations and customer updates on system/environment issues Troubleshoot issues in the workday application/stack with development teams
Required Experience: Working knowledge of all layers of the TCP/IP stack and common Internet services Ability to own and drive customer related issues to resolution Excellent communication and analytical skills for incident management and change implementation Work well in a distributed team environment
Desired Qualifications: Degree in Computing/ Technology ITIL foundation or equivalent CompTIA Linux+ certified is a plus but not a requirement Basic programming knowledge (Bash, Java, Ruby, Python) Professional Development with Generation Workday The next generation of talent will further fuel Workday’s success.
