Community Sport

The Institute of Technology Carlow Sports Department recognises the value of a vibrant community sports programme and has developed a number of key partnerships with local agencies including National Governing Bodies, Local Sports Partnerships, Local Regional Youth Services, High Performance Sports Teams, Local Clubs, Primary and Secondary Schools, Local, Regional and National Special Olympics, County Boards and other Sporting Organisations in the region. Several IT Carlow students and graduates are now actively involved in Community Sport programmes with the various partners.
