General FAQ

Q: What is it like on campus this year due to the pandemic?
The health and safety of IT Carlow's Students and Staff is most important. There is a hybrid of on-campus activities with remote/online teaching. The exact proportion of on-campus versus online activities will be determined by the public health advice at any given time. Notwithstanding this, we remain committed to providing active learning experiences on-campus, easy access to a broad range of learning materials, and student-focused activities/supports that are designed to further strengthen our sense of community and belonging in this new environment we find ourselves in.

Check out our Start Your Story at IT Carlow CAO Ambassadors videos for more information on life in IT Carlow.
Q: Do I need to self-isolate if I am arriving to study in IT Carlow from abroad?
Students who intend to study in IT Carlow and are arriving from abroad are required to complete a COVID-19 Passenger Locator Form (gov.ie) self-isolate for 14 days as per HSE guidelines.
