Q: When will students be starting the new academic year 2020/2021?
A message from President Dr Patricia Mulcahy regarding information on Induction sessions
First Year courses commence with Registration and Orientation on Monday 28th September 2020.

All activity on campus will be subject to public health advice.

Q: Do I need to self-isolate if I am arriving to study in IT Carlow from abroad?
Students who intend to study in IT Carlow and are arriving or returning from abroad are required to self-isolate for 14 days as per HSE guidelines 

 

Q: Is IT Carlow campus closed?

From July 20th all offices are open to staff in accordance with public health guidelines. Protocols are in place to manage the numbers on campus at any one time The Campus remains closed to students.

Q: What is IT Carlow doing to manage the COVID-19 situation?
A group was established to respond to the ever changing COVID-19 situation and has met regularly to plan and to implement actions as per HSE and HPSC advice.

 

Regular communications have been issued to students and staff via social media and our website on proper infection prevention measures. Further regular updates from various departments and senior management are also posted to our COVID-19 Coronavirus Updates webpage

Undergraduate – Irish and EU Applicants

Q: I have applied via CAO for a course that requires an interview and/or a skills performance trial. Will the interview still go ahead?
We are making alternative arrangements for face-to-face interviews and performances. Please check your email regularly. We will be in contact with further details once arranged.

 

Q: I am a mature student who has applied to IT Carlow via CAO and I was supposed to have an interview. What do I do now?

Q: I can no longer take my English test. Are there any alternatives?
For the academic year 2020/2021 the Institute will be accepting the results of the Duolingo online test. For more information click here

Undergraduate – International Applicants

Q: I have accepted my offer and paid my deposit. However, I am now unable to travel due to COVID-19. What do I do now?
We understand that COVID-19 is an ever changing situation around the world. Please contact our International Team on internationaladmin@itcarlow.ie and they will be more than happy to advise you

 

Q: How do I pay my fees if I am an International student?

Postgraduate – Irish and EU Applicants

Q: I would like to apply to IT Carlow. Is this still possible?
Yes, you can apply online here. You will receive an email once your application is processed. Check your emails regularly for updates.

 

Q: I have accepted my offer and paid my deposit. However, I am now unable to travel due to COVID-19. What do I do now?

Q: I have accepted my offer but I am unable to start my course in September. Can I defer my place until 2021/2022?
