Dr. Ciara Fitzpatrick is a graduate of University of Cambridge and Imperial College London.  She completed her EngD in Environmental Engineering (Hydrogeology) at University College London. Ciara worked as an Environmental Engineer for multidisciplinary engineering consultancy Ramboll before joining SETU Carlow in 2014 where she is lecturer in Department of the Built Environment.

Academic and Research Experience

Research interests include hydrogeological modelling, fate and transport of contaminated groundwater, characterisation of contaminated land.
