Launched by John Clarke, Head of Marketing Research and Insight at Glanbia last November, the BSc. in Digital Marketing with Analytics was developed by a team of marketing, design, digital technology and analytics specialists and is the only undergraduate course of its kind to includes digital analytics, a factor which will give graduates a competitive edge starting their careers in marketing, according to course director Úna Grant.
“The most in-demand digital marketing graduates are those who possess data analysis skills which are seen as essential to driving growth for business. The semester-long work placement or study abroad option in Year 3 further enhances career prospects and promotes work-based learning”, commented Ms. Grant.
The students were joined for the photo by the current intake of 22 Masters in Digital Marketing students.
“A first-year student studying marketing at Institute of Technology Carlow can now smoothly progress through the Level 7 and 8 BSc in Digital Marketing with Analytics and straight into the Masters in Digital Marketing – a smooth and comprehensive trajectory for anyone pursuing a career in marketing”, added Ms. Grant.
