Enterprise Ireland Launches 2011 Graduate Programme
IT Carlow hosted guest speakers from Enterprise Ireland last Friday as the details of the 2011 Graduate Programme were unveiled. Hopeful Marketing and International Business students packed the lecture theatre to capacity as the exciting opportunity was detailed by Philip Singleton and Ciara Gorman.
The International Graduate Programme is a two year paid work placement offering graduates the opportunity to work in International Marketing in one of Enterprise Ireland’s thirty-two offices around the world. The post offers the additional incentive of working across different sectors while both living and working abroad. Mr. Philip Singleton, Market Advisor of Enterprise Ireland, spoke on the services provided by the organisation and the key growth sectors in the current climate, some of which include life sciences, software and internationally traded services. He emphasised that there was a need for marketing expertise to encourage “innovative companies doing interesting things in overseas markets”.
