IT Carlow graduate, paralympian Joe Markey, competes in Rio

Congratulations and best wishes to a graduate of our Wexford campus, paralympian Joe Markey, who is amongst the Irish football 7-a-side team competing in Rio. This pic by Diarmuid Greene, shows Joe in action at the Paralympics against Ukraine. 

Joe is Ireland’s most-capped player, having represented his country internationally more than 70 times to date and has scored 17 goals for Ireland. Rio 2016 is his second Paralympic Games. #COYBIG
