This is the first year the IACPT Conference will be held at Institute of Technology Carlow and organisers anticipate a great representation from the South East. Commenting on the upcoming conference, Nicola Cantwell, registered pharmacist and work placement coordinator IT Carlow said 'The importance of the role of pharmacy technicians has increased hugely over the last number of years as a result of the widening of the range of services provided by community pharmacies.
