Four Finalists in the Samsung Digital Media Awards 2014
Finalists for the ‘Best Student’ category of the Samsung Digital Media Awards have been announced. This category is open to all third level and higher education students. There are a total of five finalists nominated for this prestigious award and this year, four out of the five finalists are 2nd year Visual Communications and Design students from IT Carlow. This is an amazing achievement for the Wexford Campus and IT Carlow.
Entries for the award are animated pieces that tell a story about the role that mobile devices have in international relations and global development. The Samsung Digital Media Awards celebrate excellence in all aspects of digital media. Created in 2003 and now in their 11th year, the Awards offer a platform for the dynamic work taking place across the broad spectrum of digital media in Ireland and abroad.
The Institute of Technology Carlow would like to congratulate all students involved and wish them best of luck in the competition.
