O'Byrne Cup: IT Carlow claim Wexford scalp

Late points from Cian Reynolds and Darragh White gave Carlow IT a surprise O'Byrne Cup success over Wexford at Bunclody on Wednesday night.Model County star Ben Brosnan was on target for the students during the opening 35 minutes and game was tied 0-6 to 0-6 at the break.
Aidan O'Brien's team enjoyed the better of the exchanges during the third quarter and points from Paddy Byrne, Kevin O'Grady and Adrian Flynn parachuted them into a 0-9 to 0-7 lead.
