Applications Closing Date

Applications for visa-required students are now closed for the September 2023 intake. Applications from non-visa required candidates will be accepted up to the 31 July 2023.

If you are from a visa required country, your next chance to secure an offer for SETU Carlow will be when applications open for the September 2024 intake – at the end of this year.

International Students

For the purposes of the application process, a non-EU applicant is the holder of a passport from a non-EU country.  Or an EU passport holder who has not been resident in an EU state for at least three of the last five years.

  • Only Non-EU students should apply via the online application form. 
  • Applications from visa-required candidates will be accepted up to the 1 June 2023.
  • Applications from non-visa required candidates will be accepted up to the 31 July 2023 for programmes commencing in September 2023.

EU Students

For the purposes of the application process, an EU applicant is an EU passport holder who has been resident in an EU state for at least three of the last five years. Candidates who meet these criteria are eligible for EU fees and must apply via the Central Applications Office (CAO) of Ireland.
