International Activities

International Society

Cultural shake-up is the International Student Society which was developed to help all cultures on campus to integrate and create friendships. The society creates an opportunity for students from all the cultures on campus to socialise by having fun nights out and some great weekends away.  The International Office liaises with members of the International Society to assist them in relation to organising events.

International Day

International day is a very enjoyable and entertaining event hosted by the International students on campus with the assistance of the International Office. There are stands representing each country on campus, which the students decorate and provide information on their Home Institutes and their Home Countries. Visitors to the stands have the opportunity to sample food of the country and enter a draw for prizes, which the students have received sponsorship for. Students of each country entertain both staff and students of the University with traditional song, dance or music.
