Stephen Brady

Stephen joined Dublin Fire Brigade in 1973, learning the skills and the art of Fire Fighting, Rescue an Emergency Medical Response.  During his extensive career Stephen was promoted through the ranks from Fire Fighter to Chief Officer. He was heavily involved in development of training at both local and national level. He was a member of the Fire Service Council for a number of years. In 2001 he became a consultative member of the Farrell Grant Sparks Review of the Fire and Emergency Service in Ireland.

Sharon Gallagher

Sharon is a research and health psychologist, specialising in the area of trauma and Critical Incident Stress Management with Emergency Services. She also specialises in psychosocial risk assessment for at risk occupational groups. She is currently the Coordinator and Education Officer for CISM Network Ireland and has been the Principal Investigator for the National Ambulance Service CISM Project since 2007.

Claire O'Donoghue

Claire O’ Donoghue was conferred with honours BSc in Psychology with the Open University in 2002. She also achieved an honours BA in Education and Training with NUI, Galway in 2002. She obtained a Master’s Degree in Management and Organisation studies from UCD’s Smurfit Graduate Business College, Dublin in 2005. In 1979, she joined the Department of Transport as a Communications Assistant with the Air Navigation Services. She has worked in various roles with the Irish Aviation Authority since its inception in 1993.  She is currently a Senior Aviation Executive in the Irish Aviation Authority.

Tony O'Gorman

Tony has over thirty years’ experience in the construction, refit, management and maintenance of buildings, plant and facilities in Ireland, the United States, Asia and Africa. Tony currently works as Project and Maintenance Manager in one of Ireland’s largest public hospitals. He also has eleven years’ experience working for Intel Ireland in a variety of technical management roles and as Facilities Emergency Response Leader, working with the emergency services on fire and chemical and major event emergency planning, response and control.
