Institute of Technology Carlow has partnered with Aviation Australia, one of the world’s leading EASA Part 66 basic training organisations, in providing state of the art online training programs to assist aircraft engineers in pursing EASA Part 66 aircraft maintenance engineer licensing.

This online platform consists of presentations which include interactive representations and supporting notes. These are in the form of self study guides and, in the case of Human Factors and most Category A subjects, structured E-Lessons.
Current programs offered online include:
Category B1.1: Turbine Aeroplane self study guides
Category B1.2: Piston Aeroplane self study guides
Category B1.3: Turbine Helicopter self study guides
Category B1.4: Piston Helicopter self study guides
Category B2: Avionics self study guides
Category A1: Turbine Aeroplane - Line Maintenance E lessons
Category B, Self Study Guides provide a structured presentation of course materials which will assist students in studying towards Part 66 license examinations. These guides provide a PowerPoint style display of materials and downloadable manuals.
Please Note: Microsoft Word is used to access the handout notes for these courses.
Category A, E-Learning Courses provide a more interactive learning environment which includes tests, animations and quizzes to accelerate the intake of information.
