Duties: Internship Programme We offer a structured internship programme with meaningful work experience where our interns are supported through 1-1 Coaching. Interns are given exposure to our Senior Leaders and have opportunities to demonstrate to our leaders how they have contributed to Kerry during their internship. Interns also have an opportunity to learn about our wider business and network with other interns through events organised throughout their placement. We are committed to the development of our Interns as we aim to convert as many Interns to Graduates on our award winning Graduate Programme. All interns will be given the opportunity to be considered for our Graduate Programme before they complete their placement. Description and Responsibilities The HR Intern will provide quality HR administrative support to the HR team and will learn the practical applications of: •Talent Acquisition - recruiting and hiring process, including: posting job openings, reviewing resumes, conducting telephone and in-person interviews, making job offers and negotiating starting salaries. •Graduate Programme Support – Support the Graduate Programme team in co-ordinating Graduate recruitment and development activities including running Assessment Centres, job offers, reference checks and support in organising Graduate events. •Lifecycle Administration – experience the relationship of HR and Finance/payroll/Share Services in the areas of new employee paperwork, payroll issues, Cost Centre allocations etc. •Employee Relations – gain exposure to the role of HR in supporting employees and managers of people in the day-to-day employment relationship. •Compliance - The importance of employment law and statutory compliance, specifically regarding employment eligibility, confidentiality, data integrity of employee files. •Employee Communications – support and co-ordinate employee communications and events •Project Management – participation in active projects (Track progress, deadlines, and priorities of all projects). •Learning & Development – understand how L&D initiatives support the drive for performance improvement across all business functions. Timelines: from January 2018 for a minimum duration of 6 months Location: Global Technology and Innovation Centre in Naas, Co. Kildare.
