Job Description: Help design the future of Workday's cloud architecture. Do you think about ways for operations and development teams to move away from traditional provisioning and deployment practices? Product Management at Workday could be the next step in your career! We are looking for people with a technical background to design, develop and deploy working with our Development teams on the ground. Product Managers focus on delivering business value & solving customer problems, while incorporating operational & technical requirements. At Workday we own the complete stack and tools that deliver our products across thousands of servers. We are looking for product managers to own and deliver products similar to those you would see in Amazon’s AWS suite of products or those in the Google Cloud Platform for the Workday development teams, be that virtualisation, continuous delivery pipelines, deployment, monitoring and logging. As a leader in these teams you'll work with innovative, experienced engineers that build highly available systems and services across the entire stack. Required Experience: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other technical major Ability to collaborate with diverse groups such as customers, developers, consultants and sales personnel Ability to learn new concepts and technologies quickly Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills including, but not limited to, task prioritization and effective time management Responsibilities: Work on the design, development, testing, product release, and maintenance of the product to ensure its quality and successful delivery Define a product roadmap and determine requirements for each release based on user requirements, technical architecture and business needs Takes ownership over the product and drives the product vision Collaborate with internal development, operations, infrastructure, and product teams to understand their requirements and priorities Professional Development with Generation Workday The next generation of talent will further fuel Workday’s success.
