Traffic Management System

The Institute operates a Virtual Permit Car Parking System. All users of the Institute’s car parks must register their car for a Virtual Permit via the NCPS website (www.ncps.ie).

There are a number of Pay & Display places for visitors, in order to park in these spaces, a valid Pay & Display ticket must be displayed.

Cars parked without a valid Permit or Pay & Display ticket in the Pay & Display Spaces will be clamped. Drivers will be required to pay a fee to the clamping Company NCPS to have their car released to them. Drivers must deal directly with NCPS not the Institute. Clamping is in operation Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm for cars without a valid Permit and for cars parked without a valid Pay and Display ticket.

Any car not parked illegally i.e not in a designated space (between two white lines) may be clamped. Illegal parking applies 24 hours a day; 7 days a week; 365 days a year.

Students in the Wexford Main Campus may park their cars at the front or rear of the Campus Building. They should ensure that they do not block the driveway around the side of the building or the garage doors at the rear of the parking area.

The gates to the carparks are locked every evening, cars should not be left in the carparks overnight.
