Dr Diarmuid Ó Sé
B.A., M.A., M.Mgt.Sc., Ph.D.
A Mathematics and Management Science lecturer with twenty years teaching experience at IT Carlow.
Diarmuid obtained a Ph.D, at NUI Maynooth, in Theoretical Physics in 1986. He was a research scholar in the Dublin Institute of Advanced Studies for a year before he began teaching at IT Carlow. He also holds a Masters in Management Science (1992) from the Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business. He has successfully supervised postgraduate students from both the Schools of Science and the School of Business at IT Carlow.
Research Experience
Research Scholar at the school of Theoretical Physics, Dublin Institute of Advanced Studies.
Research supervision of postgraduate students in the areas of: Computer Science, Network Systems Management and Supply Chain Management.
Member of the editorial board of the School of Business and Humanities Postgraduate Studies Working Papers Review.
