UNA GRANT - BUSINESS & MARKETING

Let's just say I came to IT Carlow and liked it so much I stayed! I started off studying the Certificate in Office Information Systems (CW012) because of its practical nature and very good job prospects. Then I decided to use the course progression system and moved into the Diploma in Marketing (CW037). When the opportunity arose to be part of first Services Marketing Degree class I stayed on after the Diploma and moved into the Bachelor of Business - Services Marketing (CW083). I was delighted that I did.

What I liked about the course
• All the courses were very practical
• Staff were very friendly and approachable
• Great atmosphere in class & in IT Carlow

So where am I now?
I am now working as a Marketing Lecturer at IT Carlow and love it – it’s great to still be involved in the college and to teach on the courses that I studied myself – the job is not typical of most of the Services Marketing Degree graduates, the majority would go on to work in other services industries and work directly in the field of Marketing.
