IT Carlow provides a number of Sports Scholarships to students of exceptional sporting ability each academic year. The Scholarships afford the elite sports person the opportunity to compete at the highest level while pursuing a course of academic study.

The scheme is designed to nurture and develop individual talent and maintain the Institutes sporting tradition. Scholarships offer financial support to athletes to assist with the cost of accommodation, coaching and specialised training equipment.

We offer a wide range of Honours Degree courses including the BSc in Human Physiology & Rehabilitation, which provides a range of expertise and top class facilities to support and develop athlete training at the highest level.

Scholarships are awarded in a wide range of sports, including Gaelic Games, Soccer, Athletics, Martial Arts, Basketball and Golf.

Who Should Apply?

Elite Athletes, those participating at International, National, Inter-Provincial, Inter-County, Senior Club level and who have applied for their chosen course at IT Carlow.
Those accepting a course place at IT Carlow for the current academic year.
Those currently studying at IT Carlow.
