Facilities for Sport

The Institute has invested heavily in the development of state of the art sports facilities including:

Sports Centre with viewing gallery
Fitness Suite
Elite Performance Athletic Centre
Specialised Exercise Studios
Spinning Room
Sports Analysis Laboratory

In addition the external grounds have been developed to include:

2 full size sand based flood lit Gaelic Football and Rugby pitches
Full size flood lit 4G Soccer Pitch
4 all weather 5 aside /7aside pitches.

The external sports grounds developments also include an ultra modern 660 seater viewing stadium located adjacent to the main college pitch and a 250 seater viewing stand to showcase the weekly Inter Colleges and Leinster League rugby matches. These facilities incorporate top class team changing rooms, showers, sauna, steam rooms, physiotherapy areas and a series of inter - connecting seminar/hospitality rooms which afford panoramic views of all the action on the pitches. These new enhanced facilities provide the ideal training ground for the elite athlete, college teams and the recreational user to enjoy and develop their sport.
