Café & Restaurant
A modern café and restaurant, with seating for a combined total of approximately 800 people, is located centrally on campus on two floors.
Located on the lower floor of the Slaney Building the campus newsagents supplies confectionery, newspapers, drinks and basic food items.
AIB Bank provides a broad range of high quality financial services to students and staff of the Institute through its on-campus services branch and ATM facility. The campus Health Centre provides a comprehensive service for all students, including a full-time nursing service and surgeries with visiting doctors.
The Institute has excellent facilities for a variety of out-door sports including tennis courts and playing pitches for GAA, Soccer, Rugby and Athletics. A multi-functional Barrow Centre and newly developed Fitness Suite provides for a range of indoor sports and activities.
The Careers Service provides information, advice and guidance on employment and further study options to students and recent graduates of the Institute.
Sports Injury and Rehabilitation Clinic
If students or staff are experiencing some pain or have an injury, there is a teaching clinic for 3rd and 4th year physiology and rehabilitation students, where students participate in assessment and treatment of patients, supervised by a qualified physiotherapist/sports rehabilitator.
The Institute has a specialist counselling service, provided by a Counselling Psychologist and is available to all students free of charge.
The Student Assistance Fund exists to support students experiencing genuine financial difficulty. Registered full-time students can apply for assistance from this fund.
