The Erasmus Lifelong Learning Programme is operated through the setting up of Bilateral Agreements between European educational institutes, to develop partnerships for the exchange of students and staff.
Students must submit the following documents with their application form:
- Examination Results – Students must attach copies of their previous examination results from their home institute. You cannot submit your applicaion form without these results attached and Heads of Department at IT Carlow will not consider applications for entry without a current copy of examination results.
- Learning Agreement – To submit your application form, this document must be attached to ensure there is enough time to have it signed and returned to the home institute prior to the arrival of the student. If you wish to use the IT Carlow Learning Agreement you will be able to download a copy below.
- Important: Please ensure that you provide your complete home address details as all future correspondence will be sent to this address.

Duration of Stay
As courses at IT Carlow are not semesterised or modularised, it is recommended that students participate for the entire academic year or where it is not possible for students to come for the entire year, please note that we will only accept applications for a short term study period when it commences in September. The only exception to this rule are in the area of Design, where applications will be considered to commence a study period in January.
