ERIC - Enterprise & Research Incubation Campus

The success of this Campus Innovation Centre in supporting company development was recently recognised through the awarding of additional funding to the Institute to establish a second Enterprise and Research Incubation Campus under the Regional Innovation Strategies Infrastructure Measure (operated by Enterprise Ireland on behalf of the Office of Science and Technology of the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment) of the National Development Plan 2000-2006.

Located on the grounds of the Institute of Technology, Carlow, the centre is a purposely built, fully services building providing 831 sq. m of industrial and commercial space dedicated to the growth of young knowledge-based companies.

Its goal is to accelerate the development of start-up companies through a comprehensive combination of infrastructure, business support services and speacialised resources before and during their foundation.
